The Williamstown Oasis
A SLICE OF PARADISE
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a property transformed into a cohesive, flowing, livable space from the inside to the outside. Designing and creating functional outdoor spaces is our passion and we want to take you on a journey through one of our favourite projects of 2018 - The Williamstown Oasis.
This incredible property was transformed into a tranquil, hidden oasis in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. The garden now has style and sophistication with a high-end, resort style feel, complete with different zones for entertaining and living. A true slice of paradise!
The property has two entries. The main entrance was created with a range of mature, established trees. Large travatine pavers take you from the parkland up to the stunning custom designed privacy screen. A secured gate takes you from the hustle and bustle of city life into the sheer beauty and tranquility of this hidden oasis.
The custom made, laser cut privacy screens, have been used throughout the property to create a modern, creative edge to the space as well as provide the required security and privacy our clients needed. Made from laser cut mild steel, these screens have been powder coated to ensure its longevity and appeal.
The swimming pool . . .
Hidden behind the gates lies a sanctuary - simple, beautiful gardens and an ‘L’ shaped concrete swimming pool, that is the envy of all who see it. Utilising every inch of the available space, the swimming pool is the true feature of the property. Boasting stunning imported limestone paving around the pool and surrounds, and evergreen plants and foliage around the pool area, this space oozes high-end resort style luxury.
Adjacent to the pool lies a small courtyard and garden to compliment the home's main entry. We designed a unique garden bed using steel garden bed edging from Formboss.
In the rear courtyard, Silver Birch trees were planted in over-sized, statement planters by Martin Kellock Pots & Planters. With their clean lines and bold appearance, they create a ‘wow’ factor - always a favourite of ours.
Feature lighting was used throughout to highlight the stunning aspects of the design and to bring the garden to life at night.
The second entry way features incredible concrete work by Hungry Wolf Studios. They are insitu concrete specialists. They created the ultimate polished concrete floating step leading into the home. Silver Birch trees were used to soften the space and provide shade in the summer and sunlight in the winter months.
This property’s transformation was planned down to the last detail. From plant choices to the imported limestone around the pool and surrounds. Nothing was overlooked.
